Dr Usman Mansoor
Consultant Psychiatrist
FRANZCP, MBBS, MPH, M.Psych

Dr Usman Mansoor completed specialist Psychiatry training in Australia and is a fellow of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He has also completed Master of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne and Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney.

His main areas of expertise include ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, Eating disorders, Post-traumatic stress disorder and  Obsessive-compulsive disorder. He has experience working with rural and metropolitan communities.

Dr Mansoor works with adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental illness and are seeking help to improve their quality of life. His therapeutic style is to provide a holistic approach and work with his patients to combine biological, psychological and social interventions. He uses a range of psychological techniques and pharmacotherapy where appropriate.


Dr Muhammad Shahzad Ashraf

Dr Shahzad is a seasoned Consultant Psychiatrist with a diverse international background. After postgraduate studies in England, including MRCPsych, MSc, and CCT in both adult and old age psychiatry, he practiced in NHS (UK). Now based in Australia, he holds FRANZCP Fellowship and specialises in people who are aged 50+ (geriatric mental health issues) with Anxiety Disorders (Gen Anxiety Disorder, OCD, Somatic symptoms), Mood Disorders (Depression, Bipolar), Psychotic Disorders (Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder).

With almost two decades of UK experience and a passion for holistic care, he is dedicated to illuminating paths of healing for his patients. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, he is unwavering in his commitment to fostering psychological well-being among the elderly, melding academic acumen with a genuine understanding of individual needs. His journey continues to be a testament to the transformative power of psychiatry, as he remains steadfast in his mission to illuminate paths of hope and healing for those entrusted to his care.


Dr Anuruddha R K Dissanayake
Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr. Anuruddha Dissanayake is an experienced consultant psychiatrist with over 10 years of expertise in both Australia and Sri Lanka. He completed psychiatric training in Queensland, Australia, and Sri Lanka. After serving as a board-certified specialist in psychiatry for 7 years in Sri Lanka, he transitioned to his psychiatry career in Australia, starting as a consultant psychiatrist in Victoria in 2020. In 2022, he attained the fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).

Throughout his impressive 25-year medical career, Dr. Dissanayake consistently demonstrated excellence in academia. Specializing as a general adult psychiatrist, his areas of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychoses, post-traumatic stress disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. He speaks the Sinhalese language in addition to English. Dr. Dissanayake’s commitment to advancing mental health care is evident in his continuous pursuit of knowledge and dedication to providing high-quality psychiatric services.


A/Prof. Kaushadh Jayakody

A/Prof. Jayakody has been working in the field of psychiatry since 2005. After obtaining a medical degree (MBBS), he completed his psychiatry training in the UK, obtaining membership (MRCPsych), fellowship (FRCPsych), and advanced training (CCT) in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry. He then completed psychiatry training in Australia, obtaining fellowship (FRANZCP). Additionally, he completed a Doctorate in Psychiatry (MD) and a Masters in Psychiatry (MSc) in the UK. He is an Associate Professor (Affiliate) at IMPACT, School of Medicine, Deakin University, and has published several research articles in scientific journals. His areas of expertise include psychosis, depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, OCD, ASD, and brief psychological therapies.”


Dr Zehra Memon
Consultant Psychiatrist
FRANZCP, MBBS, MPH

Dr. Memon has worked in Psychiatry, in Australia for more than a decade. She completed her junior medical training at the preeminent Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, in Sydney. She initially trained as a medical registrar at the John Hunter Hospital, in New Castle, in line with her passion for the human mind, initially pursuing Neurology. She soon realised her real passion is for the workings of the Human Brain. Her passion for this lead her to pursuing post-graduate Fellowship in Psychiatry, whilst working as a Psychiatrist-in-Training, completing her psychiatric training at the Sydney Local Health District. Following this, she worked as a Psychiatrist at the North Sydney Local Health District and also furthered her horizons with research on metabolic monitoring and physical health in patients with severe persistent mental illness and in Body Image disorders.

Her areas of interest are Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD and ASD), Mood disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, Mental health management plans, Women’s Mental Health, Medicolegal Psychiatry and Work-cover Assessments.

Dr Rasitha Perera
Child and Adult Psychiatrist
MBBS, MD(Psych), FRANZCP

Dr Rasitha Perera is a certified child psychiatrist and adult psychiatrist. He sees patients from 6 year old onwards.


Sefronia Oakes
Nurse Practitioner
CMHN, MNSc

Sefronia Oakes is a Nurse Practitioner and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse. Since graduating from Melbourne University in 2017 she has worked with adolescents and adults across acute, community and prison mental health services. With expertise in depression, anxiety, PTSD, AOD, and personality disorders and a special interest in ADHD.


She has additional training in various psychological interventions including DBT, CBT and mindfulness.


Nomusa Napier
Nurse Practitioner
CMHN, MNSc

Nomusa is a Zimbabwean born Nurse Practitioner and Credentialed Mental Health Nurse specialising in Alcohol and Other Drugs and Mental Health, while also having extensive primary care experience in mental-health care and forensics. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing in 2007 in New Zealand, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Sciences (specialisation AOD). In 2010, she moved to Swan Hill where she continued her career as a nurse in a rural community health setting. She then furthered her education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing and then later completed (2021) a Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).  

Nomusa values a compassionate and collaborative approach to working with her clients, using a trauma-informed approach that is holistically responsive to her client’s unique needs and strengths. Her theoretical practice includes a strong interest in Motivational Interviewing together with Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her nursing practice aims to combine high-standards of physical health assessment, with a flexible and friendly therapeutic-rapport that enables her clients to also feel comfortable to disclose and discuss their psychosocial needs.    

Nomusa values working collaboratively with other qualified prescribers and practitioners to enable her client’s to achieve the best treatment outcomes. She currently works as a nurse practitioner in Bendigo, where she has continued her nursing experience in community-health centres, correctional-health facilities and residential AOD detox. Nomusa values participation in ongoing professional development that increases nurse-practioner’s skills in comprehensive mental-health assessments, diagnostic testing, and dual-diagnosis treatment plans. In 2023, she received an award from Drug and Alcohol Nurses Australasia at their annual conference, in recognition of her mentoring trainee nurses. She also has a strong interest in community development for women from a Zimbabwean cultural background.

Anureet is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor and a proud member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She specializes in providing support and guidance to individuals facing life’s challenges. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD-related issues, or seeking personal growth, she offers a safe and supportive space for you to explore and overcome these challenges. Anureet specializes in delivering evidence-based strategies for managing ADHD in adults across the lifespan. In her free time, she loves to travel and do yoga.
